In this way, "5 + 2", "white + black", every inch of land in Mulong Village has left her footprints, she has also changed from a poverty alleviation "layman" to an expert in poverty alleviation business, and the people have gradually become familiar with her, affectionately calling her "Secretary Xiao Li". "Our whole family has been out for a long time before, the family's house has fallen into disrepair, the eldest son is severely disabled, Secretary Xiao Li visited my home in detail, explained the relevant policies for us, applied for the minimum guarantee, and now lives in a newly renovated house, not to mention more steadfast." The villager who lives in the new house excitedly talks about the new changes in his home. Thousands of satisfactions, thousands of satisfactions, and the happiness of the masses are the real satisfaction. With the efforts of Li Rui and his colleagues and the struggle of all the masses, Mulong Village passed the third-party field assessment in 2020 and successfully achieved poverty alleviation. Li Rui has also been recognized by the organization, and has been assessed as "excellent" for two consecutive years in the village, and won the honorary title of "Advanced Individual in Poverty Alleviation in Yunnan Province" in April 2021.
The frontline of epidemic prevention shows its true colors and conscientiously builds a "protective wall" for life. At the beginning of 2020, in the face of the menacing epidemic, Li Rui, as the first secretary, gave full play to the exemplary role of party members, gave up his small family to take care of everyone, resolutely gave up the opportunity to reunite with his family on the second day of the New Year, and went against the trend to cooperate with the village "two committees" to carry out epidemic prevention work. Mulong Village is located at the junction of Yiliang County and Daguan County, and due to the large flow of people and many entrances and exits during the Spring Festival, the epidemic prevention task is even more arduous. In order to guard this extremely important first line of defense, she led the cadres to conduct "carpet" and "drag-net" inspections one by one, and at the same time docked with the unit baobao cadres to carry out epidemic investigation and epidemic prevention knowledge publicity by telephone, WeChat and other means. At the same time, it also actively used the big speakers in the party member activity room, WeChat QQ groups, mobile speaker publicity teams and other carriers to vigorously carry out epidemic prevention and control knowledge publicity. Rural party members have responded to the call and taken the initiative to fight in the front line of prevention and control. Under the influence of party members, the villagers also spontaneously threw themselves into this "war epidemic". The 19 card points and 78 volunteers in the whole village have built a "protective wall" in Mulong Village with full coverage and no dead ends, which effectively demonstrates the strength of the party organization and the true color of communist party members.

In May 2021, after the rotation back to the unit, Li Rui's position was also changed from the front line of poverty alleviation to the front line of the work of old cadres.
