Food is a highlight of Chinese culture, condensing the rich cultural connotations of Chinese customs, aesthetic tastes, and life attitudes.

Since the Ming and Qing dynasties, the eight major cuisines recognized are Lu, Sichuan, Fujian, Guangdong, Suzhou, Zhejiang, Xiang and Hui. The names of Chinese cuisines are varied, and each famous name has been passed down, and there is a story every second.

For example, tianjin's famous dog Buli was born 150 years ago. At that time, there was a young man named Dogzi who worked as a buddy in a bun shop. After studying for three years, he opened a bun shop on his own. Because his buns are particularly delicious, there are many customers who come to him, and no matter how busy the dogs are, they can't meet everyone's needs. Some people waited for a long time and called him, because he was busy making buns and could not agree. Later, people called his bun "Dog Ignore".

There is a dish in Fujian called "Buddha Jumping the Wall". This dish is made with more than 20 kinds of main ingredients such as chicken, duck, sea cucumber, dried scallops, ham, and more than 10 kinds of ingredients such as flowers and bamboo shoots, put in the jar, add Shaoxing wine and chicken soup, and stew over low heat. The stewed vegetable soup is rich in flavor and delicious in gravy. This dish was originally created by the "Juchun Garden" in Fuzhou during the Guangxu period. One day, several xiu cai went to juchun garden to drink, when serving this dish, the aroma overflowed, Yi Xiu wrote a poem on the spot: The altar opens the meat incense floating around, and the Buddha smells the zen and jumps off the wall. Later, the name of the Buddha jumping off the wall spread.
