Earlier, the Mong Kok landmark building, Langham Place office building, was launched as a landmark.
In July, the project was sold as a global tender for an intended price of 24.5 billion yuan, with a land price of more than 35,000 yuan per square foot of floor area, and the property consultant responsible for the auction earlier pointed out that there were two to three Chinese consortiums negotiating the purchase.
The latest news indicates that the bids of the bidding consortium have not reached the reserve price.
Langham Place Office Building is under the umbrella of Guanjun Estate Trust, in which Eagle Jun holds more than 65% interests, and the Group has not responded to the arrangement after the auction.
The 59-storey building covers an area of 770,000 square feet, four of which were sold in 2005. The auction this time focused on the 55-storey office building under Guanjun Property Trust, involving about 700,000 square feet of floor space.
