Young cadres must always bear in mind the general secretary's earnest entrustment, be loyal to the party, be diligent in studying, be sensitive to things, be cautious in their deeds, and make meritorious contributions in the course of striving and grow into talents in the course of struggle with the practical actions of being loyal and clean.

Be loyal to the party and build a solid "foundation" of ideals and convictions. Ideals and convictions are the spiritual pillar and political soul of Chinese communists. Young cadres should regard the ideals and convictions tempered as solid as a rock as a lifelong compulsory course; in reviewing the course of the CPC's turbulent century, in deepening the practical struggle to serve the people wholeheartedly, and in the great cause of promoting the continuous advancement of the cause of the party and the state, they should strengthen their faith in Marxism and their belief in socialism with Chinese characteristics and communism, ignite the fire of ideals and convictions with the party's glorious traditions and fine work style, and truly ensure that they do not get lost in the face of complicated situations and do not shrink back in the face of arduous struggles. Write the most vivid footnote to ideals and beliefs with loyalty to the party.

Diligent in learning, replenishing the "calcium" of the ability level. In an era of unprecedented change and doing a great cause unprecedented in history, young cadres must fully realize that studying diligently and practicing diligently and enhancing their skills is the key to correctly understanding and properly handling the new situations and new problems in the process of development. "A scholar must not be a scholar, but a scholar must be a learner." Be sensitive to things and enhance the "effectiveness" of seeking truth and pragmatism. As far as communists are concerned, tempering the ideological character and work style of seeking truth and being pragmatic is essentially to implement the ideological line of proceeding from reality and seeking truth from facts in everything. Seeking truth from facts is the essence of Marxism, an important magic weapon for the CPC to achieve success, and the starting point and foothold of all actions. "Whether cadres seek truth from facts or not, the most fundamental thing is to see whether they are telling the truth and telling the truth, whether they are doing practical things and seeking practical results." Young cadres should always and everywhere keep seeking truth from facts firmly in mind and put them into practice; regard telling the truth, doing honest deeds, and being honest people as important contents of the cultivation and tempering of party spirit; persist in keeping their eyes downward and their steps downward, swoop down and sink to the front line; they must not only "enter the body" but also "be attentive," practice the basic skills of investigation and study, identify the essence through phenomena, reveal the law governing the existence and development of objective things, and find effective solutions to problems.

Be cautious and draw the "boundary" of the bottom line of the principle. Persisting in stressing principles, abiding by rules, and making clear bottom lines in the face of major issues of right and wrong and minor matters is the foundation for young cadres to stand up for themselves and is the political essence that cannot be lost in coping with any risks and challenges. Young cadres are in the "golden period" of growth and the shaping period of their thinking; if they talk about face without stressing principles and favoritism without stressing party spirit, they will be led astray under the coercion of "sugar-coated shells" and even slide into the abyss of breaking the law and committing crimes.
