Peace in Shaowu City
Huang Deyu (黄德裕), courtesy name Zhongyi, lived in Jiushi Street, Xiaxiang, Yongcheng County, Shaowu Jun, which is now Heping Village, Shaowu City. He was the tenth grandson of Huang Qiao.
Huang Deyu entered the priesthood at the age of twenty, in the second year of Zhongyuan Feng (1079 AD). Although Huang Deyu was only twenty years old, he was relatively old, and the other officers who served as county lieutenants and officials such as the main bookkeeper could only be given county knowledge. After Huang Deyu entered the army, he was given the title of Zhi County of Hukou County (later known as Minhou County) in Jiangning Province (Jiujiang), and soon changed to Zhi County of Huai'an County, and three years later, he was renamed Zhi County of Min County. During his tenure in Minxian County, when a typhoon raged, many houses were destroyed, and the victims had no food or shelter, he personally visited the disaster area, comforted the victims, summoned the people to save the disaster, was praised by the envoys, and was praised by the people. The county chronicle "Fang Zheng Youwei", before the term of office was completed, he was promoted to the prefect of Fengxiang Province in Shaanxi Province.
The Fengxiang area in Shaanxi was an area that was developed earlier in the Tang and Song Dynasties, and it was also a place where the families of officials and eunuchs lived more, and some of the descendants of the clan of the imperial court who returned to their hometowns were sometimes bullied by the situation, and the people were deceived, and often dared to be angry and dare not speak, after he learned of this matter, he advocated that the descendants of Ronglu read and abide by the law, encouraged the people to be good at litigation, violated the rules of the descendants of the scholar clan, never spared, and personally tried several such cases, and since then, the descendants of the scholar clan have abided by the law and updated.
Huang Deyu's wife Gao Shi, Gao's uncle, was the Shao Wubang Eye Shangguan Jun at that time, Shangguan Jun, shangguan was a famous imperial envoy of the Northern Song Dynasty, and had an appointment with Huang Deyu first, and the official must be clean and honest, and he must be fair in doing things, and if he has perverted the law, he will be impeached with a crime plus a first class. In order to maintain his own integrity, Huang Deyu was cautious everywhere in the official field, and he was an official in many places, all of whom had a clean name. He was also a brother-in-law with Shangguan Hui of Huizhou at that time, that is, the cousin of Lady Huang Deyu was married to Shangguan Hui, and the two of them were the sons-in-law of the Gao family, and Huang Deyu heard that Shangguan Hui's administration of Huizhou was good, and after the war, the devastated Huizhou was quickly restored. He "though he is long and backward, he is not ashamed to seek the art of governing the people." In Fengxiang Province, like Shangguan Hui, he also issued many regulations conducive to the development of production, organized the military and the people to develop production, and made the people prosperous. Huang Deyu's governance of Fengxiang was not only outstanding in political achievements, but also attached great importance to the cause of education, and used the method of rewards to encourage the scholar class to hold education. He believes that the reason why the descendants of some scholar families do not compete is because they receive too little cultural education. At that time, Fengxiang was located in Shaanxi, the Western Xia people were rising, taking away a large area of land in the Song Dynasty, and the imperial court encouraged the children of the scholar class to learn more martial arts and give more martial arts to officials, thus forming a habit of emphasizing martial arts and light literature, causing some children of the scholar clan not to speak Swen. Huang Deyu believes that it is necessary to use literature to pad the armed forces, to have culture as the foundation, and to give full play to the combat command ability of wusheng. For a time, a large number of students who could write and martial arts in the Fengxiang area were produced. The imperial court was rewarded, and Huang Deyu was promoted to the position of shaoqing of Hongxu Temple, and he became an official in the dynasty, managing education and cultural work.
Huang Deyu was in the shaoqing period of Ren Hongxu Temple, which was the day when the mercurial emperor Zhao Tuo came to power, Zhao Tuo not only liked calligraphy, but also liked to paint, and loved to summon literati and inkers to the palace to talk about calligraphy and Danqing. Huang Deyu thus had the opportunity to show his literary talents, and soon after serving in the Hongxu Temple, he was also ordained as a shaobao and served as a teacher for the emperors and grandchildren, so he was also promoted to the rank of Left Middle Doctor, and later served in the Zhi Secret Cabinet and became the Zhi Secret Cabinet.
In Huang Deyu's later years, there was no historical data to check and the results were unknown. His descendants, Huang Qinglao, who studied Huang Qinglao in the Yuan Dynasty, once conducted an investigation into Huang Deyu's later years, but there was no conclusion, only that the Huang family had become a Confucian family since Huang Deyu. That is, huang Deyu's descendants, several of whom have served as officials in the field of education such as state and county teaching and teaching.
Shaowu Prefecture and Shaowu County listed Huang Deyu as Shaowu's eunuch, that is, considered to be a relatively successful official. However, there are few records of deeds, and the above deeds of Huang Deyu are mostly obtained from foreign records, especially in the Records of Fengxiang County, and his genealogical records are also simple. Huang Deyu's historical materials have yet to be excavated.
