Of course, because this community surrounded by Zhenming Road, Sanzhi Street, and Changchun Road still hides several old streets and alleys, and we certainly can't miss it.
There are two well-known streets and alleys in the community, one is Zijin Street and the other is Meiyuan Street. In fact, in addition to this, there are Guifang Bridge Lane and Ping'an Lane.
In the old days, when taking a boat from Changchun gate to Luocheng to the north, the first bridge passed was Guifang Bridge, and GuifangQiao Lane was the alley along the river named after the bridge. Continuing to the north fork to the west is the Zijin Bridge, and on the east fork is the Cangqiao Bridge we talked about earlier. Zijin Bridge is named after the Zijin Street connected to it, and Ping'an Lane is on the west side of Zijin Street, which was originally Taiping Lane. Meiyuan Street is sandwiched between Zijin Street and Ping'an Lane.
However, now, Guifangqiao Lane has become a small road between buildings in the community, and Zijin Street has undergone a big change, encroaching on the road of the original Meiyuan Street, and turning southeast to the intersection of Zhenming Road to the original Guifang Bridge. The only safe alley is honest, staying in place in peace and security has not changed, and the "street battle" in this community can be described as wonderful.
The four streets and alleys have been sorted out with everyone, so today we will talk about the "thorn head" Zijin Street, and here it is worth mentioning the Forest House at No. 30 on the street. Lin Zhai sits north and faces south, covering an area of 3100 square meters. The building area is 2000 square meters. Is the existing ancient carving art in eastern Zhejiang region is the most concentrated, the most exquisite, the most abundant content of one of the buildings, these precious carving artworks for the study of China's ancient carving art, architectural decorative art, has an important reference value, currently belongs to the national cultural relics protection unit.
Lin Zhai was the residence of the brothers Lin Zhongyao and Lin Zhonghua during the Qing Dynasty. These two people may not be well known, but their grandfather, as we mentioned earlier, is Lin Ting'ao, the owner of the Sheng Family Flower Hall in Yujia Lane.
The current site of Lin House was originally named Golden Purple Garden, and the Zijin Bridge and Zijin Street were derived from this. It was originally the residence of two jinshi in the late Ming Dynasty, Dali commentator Lin Shiyue and Du Yushi Linshi. This is also a pair of Lin brothers. During the Qing Yongzheng period, the Lin family road was declining, the door was snubbed, and the reluctant lieutenant sold jin zi beiye to the Hong family. In the late Qing Dynasty, the Lin clan rose again, and Lin Shi later funded Lin Ting'ao to buy back this ancestral mansion from the Hong clan and renamed it "Tan Wu Lu". Until the Daoguang years, Lin Ting'ao died, and the house was once again snubbed. In the twelfth year of Tongzhi, Lin Ting'ao's grandson, The "Nanhu Lin Clan" Lin Zhongyao and Lin Zhonghua brothers Zhongju and the first, rose again and built the Lin Mansion, which is the most intact exquisite courtyard in Yongshang that has survived to this day. The Lin family began with the Lin family brothers and ended with the Lin family brothers. It can be regarded as the best embodiment and legacy of the history of the Struggle of the Lin Clan on Yongshang.
Unfortunately, now that Lin House is facing a comprehensive renovation and is in an indefinite state of closure, let's look forward to his reopening day.

The emphasis is on the Dangui tree, the golden autumn season, the fragrance of Dangui wafting, the rich fragrance from north to south, thus giving birth to the Guifang Bridge and Guifangqiao Lane that we mentioned earlier. A forest house, derived from two bridges and two alleys, is not a bit of "wow"!
