Daishan Island, Big Giant Island, Changtushan Island, Miaozi Lake Island, these scattered small islands are like shining pearls scattered on the sea, dotted with the motherland's thousands of miles of sea frontiers, engraved with the mark of youth struggle. One of the pride and glories of serving in this heroic island unit, listening to the lectures of company cadres, and chatting with veteran squad leaders is that the song "Soldier's Second Hometown" originated from Miaozihu Island, where we were in the team.
Later, we knew that MiaoziHu Island was the main island of Dongji Town, Putuo District, Zhoushan City, with perennial cloud cover. In 1958, Zhang Huancheng, who only had a primary school education, enlisted in the army and came to this uninhabited and desolate island. 2. The road on Huangqi Island
Some people say that the island is the eye of the sea, and the soldier is the eye of the island.
The days when I left Daishan Island, I always remembered my comrades-in-arms on Zishou Island and looked forward to singing a song and guarding the same island after graduating from military school.
However, in the middle of summer that year, I was assigned to the Huangqi Peninsula, the closest to Matsu Island in the mainland of the motherland, the small fishing village of Beizi, and although the company station had the famous scenery of Beizi nose and the beauty of Fuzhou's "end of the world", I recalled the road that came from the first day of reporting, crossed the eighteen bends, circled the coastal road, the smoke and rain were hazy, the sea breeze was sticky, and I thought of the lonely life of shou island in the future, and my heart was as confused as the sea.
"Although the island is small, it is part of the motherland, and the five-star red flag must be raised every day, so that the island has color, and everything we do has meaning." Just as Wang Shihua, honorary director of the militia post on Kaishan Island, said. In those years, the classic line "People live to do meaningful things" in the TV series "Soldier Assault" that swept the military camp inspired the vast number of young officers and soldiers to be determined to do a meaningful job of "defending the island for the country."
It was very bitter and tiring to guard the island with his youth, and he soon found out in the days and nights with the officers and men of the company that Sun Juntao, an old squad leader of the observation post who had been rooted in the island for more than ten years, overcame family difficulties and was determined to set the battle position, and was known as the "clairvoyant" and "downwind ear" of the company; a platoon commander Yang Yi was in this fishing village when he was a recruit, and after graduating from the military academy, he took the initiative to ask to come back to garrison. Unforgettable days when typhoons were raging, roads were blocked and supplied, and we fought in the narrow and wet tunnels; on the days of national celebration, we could not go out on combat readiness, and we were full of war on the obstacle field... But no one ever mentioned their sacrifice or dedication.
Mr. Lu Xun once said: "There is no road in the world, and the more people who walk, the more they become the road." "Some people came and left as if they had found the answer. In May this year, Lin Yinhuang, a close comrade-in-arms who had gone from soldier to platoon commander, deputy company commander and company commander in the small fishing village of that thousand-year-old island, won the praise of "pacesetter among pacesetters" with his excellent military and political qualities, and insisted on the island for more than ten years due to illness and died, integrating the 41-year-old young life into the lonely island, leaving too many thoughts and thoughts for the comrades-in-arms.

3. The mountain on Kawagoshi Island
Chuanshi Island, a small island with an area of only 3.18 square kilometers, is a bright pearl in the mouth of the Minjiang River, with thick vegetation and lush greenery, known as the natural "oxygen bar".
Recently, with the successful conclusion of the Tokyo Olympic Games, ChuanshiDao, known as the "Jinggangshan" screen network of Fujian weightlifting team, 17 years, 5 Olympic Games, 6 gold medals, Fujian weightlifting long-lasting spiritual code can be traced back to the roots of this isolated island.

Shi Zhiyong, Zhang Xiangxiang, Lin Qingfeng, Deng Wei and other heavyweights set off from this small island to attack the world championship. Red is the background color of Chuanshi Island, and the spirit of ChuanshiDao, "hard struggle, more setbacks and more courage, water drops and stones wear", is the precious spiritual wealth of Fujian weightlifters, and it is also the spiritual strength of generations of island keepers to adhere to dedication. Here, we are familiar with the beautiful legends such as "Five Tigers Guarding the Gate" and "Double Turtle Lock", and read the vicissitudes of the 19th century when Britain, the United States, Japan, France and other countries built white villas, marine weather stations, and American churches on the island. Nowadays, patriotic education bases such as the quiet and ancient Dadong Telegraph Office site on the island, the "Ruins of the Surrender of the Japanese Army on Chuanshi Island" and the "Mass Grave Ruins" have allowed the officers and men guarding the island to feel that the island has been ravaged, and at the same time, they have given the officers and men who guard the island the soul nourishment and firm belief that "the sea is at the end of the sky is the shore, and the mountain is the highest man's peak", which makes people's blood gush and the true color is evergreen.
"Heroes are produced under the Basho Mountain, and elite soldiers are trained in the loess soil." This familiar battle slogan activates the red gene flowing in the blood of officers and soldiers, and has become the most masculine and majestic voice of officers and soldiers. Focusing on preparing for war, the officers and men guarding the island have a clear understanding of the human geography of the island, such as hydrometeorology, sea passages, economic conditions, folk customs, and battlefield sites, and have a good understanding of red stories such as "Navy Hill", "British House", "Mass Grave", and "Clairvoyance". Today, standing in front of the "site of the surrender of the Japanese army on Kawagoshima Island," the sonorous oath of the officers and men never to let the tragedy of history repeat itself is still lingering in the ears and echoing for a long time.
4. Home on Taishan Island
Located in the depths of the East China Sea, Taishan Island, with an area of less than 1.34 square kilometers, is the furthest island from the mainland and the closest to the high seas in Fujian Province.
As the saying goes, it is better to go to the mountains than to go to the sea, because the sea is full of hardships and risks. The first time I took a boat to Taishan Island, I accompanied the working group of the organ to inspect the development of the company's grass-roots political work. Although the sun was shining and the sky was clear, as the landing craft continued to sail into the deep blue, the sea wind and waves were strong, the boat was bumpy and shaky, and the stomach was overturned, so that we experienced the hardships of "crossing the ocean to see you".
Deep in the sea is my home, Taishan Island is also known as "Lianxin Island". At that time, as long as there was a higher-level working group on the island, the officers and men of the company and the people stationed in the garrison would spontaneously set off firecrackers at the docks and gates of the camp to welcome the guests of the car boat. In the company camp area, the most eye-catching thing is the red "home" character on the big stone, which is from the hand of Zhang Maoyuan, a company barracks construction expert and second-class hero. Nowadays, the story of zhou zhongjiao and zhou xiaoping father and son on the island has attracted more and more villagers to join the army.
During the days of squatting on the island, it was found that the water used by the company was drawn directly from the reservoir below, and when the faucet in the washroom was unscrewed, the water dripping out was green, the brushing was bitter, the bath was sticky, the used towel was yellow, and I deeply felt the taste of water being more expensive than oil. However, Taishan Island has always been a place where the souls of generations of island keepers have been haunted, and since the company entered the island in 1955, a stubble of "flowing water soldiers" has built this isolated island into an "iron home".
It seems to be the most extraordinary, as easy as it is but difficult. Why can those things on Taishan Island in the depths of the East China Sea bring lasting touch to "infinite distances, countless of us"? Explore the "spiritual code" in it, because everyone has a "founding island" under our feet that we need to uphold, look up to and dedicate.
Only the youth who have carried out passionate struggle, only the youth who have fought tenaciously, and only the youth who have made dedication to the people will leave behind full, warm, lasting, and regretless memories of youth.
