Chongqing, May 27 (Xinhuanet) -- The film "Between Heaven and Earth", which takes Chongqing Fengjie as the main filming location and is based on local poverty alleviation stories, will soon be launched in domestic theaters around the "National Poverty Alleviation Day" this year, when CCTV will broadcast simultaneously.

"Between Heaven and Earth" is based on the outstanding poverty alleviation cadres and touching stories emerging from the poverty alleviation work in Fengjie County. The film focuses on the feelings of home and country, focuses on the people at the bottom, the story is plain and touching, the tears and laughter are intertwined, and the joys and sorrows of ordinary people are truly presented, as well as the moving deeds of the selfless dedication of the "fighters" of Fengjie and even the national poverty alleviation.

The film breaks through the serious style of the previous films of the same type and the existing screen image of the protagonist, portrays the mental journey of the male and female poverty alleviation cadres in the poverty alleviation work, and shows the real three-dimensional, flesh and blood vivid image of the poverty alleviation cadres.

"The story of poverty alleviation in Fengjie is a microcosm of the national poverty alleviation project." Ma Hongyan, a representative of the film's investors, said that during the filming process, the main creative team helped to better understand and portray the characters by seeing and feeling at the poverty alleviation scene.

Fengjie, located in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area, is a key county in the country's poverty alleviation and development work, and last year it achieved poverty alleviation. The integrated development of characteristic industries and cultural tourism is an important starting point for Fengjie to overcome poverty. In recent years, the characteristic industries represented by navel oranges and medicinal materials and the cultural tourism scenic spots with the Three Gorges culture as the core have become an important means to drive local poor households out of poverty and increase income.
