In order to study in Japan as soon as possible after the college entrance examination, most high school students will choose to apply in advance for the language school of the year in July and October. The advantage of entering a language school first is that you can learn the language in a Japanese language environment, speeding up the process of Learning Japanese. At the same time, the language school will also guide students on how to prepare materials for the university, as well as tutor the content of the examination for the university.

Because the foreign language subjects of the domestic college entrance examination are allowed to choose Japanese, for students who have the conditions, Hua Mizukijun suggests that you can learn Japanese for a period of time at the high school level and then study abroad. This has two advantages, one is that if you can get the Japanese N2 or N1 level in the country, you can choose not to go to a language school to transition, which will save a lot of study abroad costs for families with insufficient economy. Second, even if you can't play N2 or N1 in Japanese, the starting point will be much easier than those students who go to Japan with zero basic Knowledge of Japanese, and their lives and studies will be much easier.

In addition, for some students with high English proficiency, you can choose the SGU program of a Japanese university. By choosing the SGU program, you can enter a prestigious university in Japan as long as the written materials are qualified, which greatly reduces the time and economic cost of studying in Japan. However, the program is only suitable for students who have very good English, and it is not conducive to japanese language improvement and staying in Japan after graduation.

For students who choose to go to a language school first, Hua Shui Mujun recommends that you choose a language school from the following aspects:

1, geographical location: Under normal circumstances, Hua Shui Mu Jundu recommends that you choose a language school according to the target university, but in order to ensure the smooth examination, it is still recommended that you choose language schools in large cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, one is that there are more language schools to choose from, and the other is that educational resources are relatively rich. Of course, you can also choose remote cities, but if you want to shop, you have to take a train to the big city.

2, the proportion of student nationality: studying abroad will naturally encounter international students from different countries, because of the different cultural customs and education levels of various countries, so everyone often feels very chaotic, affecting their own learning. In this regard, it is recommended that you choose a language school with more Chinese students, although too many Chinese students in school is not conducive to learning Japanese, but the learning atmosphere is better, which is more helpful for examination.

  3. History and scale of the school: Schools with a long establishment time will have richer teaching experience and relatively more perfect guidance courses. As for the scale, it is recommended to choose a language school with a quota of between 200-800, under normal circumstances, the language school is less than 200, it may be a new regulation school, the teacher force and hardware equipment may not be complete enough, the quota is greater than 800, it may be because of too many students, there will be some omissions in management and can not take into account each student.

Choosing the timing of applying for a language school is also of great help to apply for Japanese universities. At present, Japanese universities are enrolled in April, while most language schools have four admission opportunities per year, namely January, April, July, and October. According to this admission time, students can take the Japanese International Student Examination (also known as the Imperial Examination and EJU) at a language school, and the time to apply for the university is:

In January, the duration of the course is 1 year and 3 months, during which students take two examinations, june and November.

Students take the exam four times during this period, june and November of that year, and June and November of the following year.

In July, the duration of the course is 9 months or 1 year and 9 months, during which students take the examination three times, namely in November of that year, and June and November of the following year.

October Admission: 1 year and 6 months, during which students take the examination twice, june and November of the following year.

Although there are 4 admission times in the language school, everyone should decide the enrollment time according to their actual situation. Hua Shui Mujun recommends applying for April students from language schools, because it coincides with the last batch of April students entering the university, and the language school has enough places to enroll.

All in all, whether you choose to study abroad or stay in China to study at university, you must combine your own situation and choose the path that suits you best. If you have the idea of studying abroad, consult with your parents, maybe they don't support it, but their starting point is definitely for your own good and want you to have a better future.
