【Plant form】 Annual or biennial herb, 60 to 90 cm tall, with aroma after drying. The stem is erect and multi-branched. The three compound leaves are alternate and have stalks. The leaflets are oblong or inverted lanceolate, 1 to 1.5 cm long and about 0.5 cm wide, blunt at the apex, wedge-shaped at the base, with fine teeth at the edges, and the veins extend to the ends of the teeth; the leaves are linear. The inflorescence is axillary and slender. Calyx bell-shaped; corolla butterfly-shaped, yellow, flag petal longer than wing petal; stamens 10, disomy.
