This themed sculpture, donated by Shandong University, was displayed in November 2002 when the 100th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Luo Ronghuan and the exhibition hall of marshal Luo Ronghuan's life and achievements were opened to the public.

In March 1943, Luo Ronghuan was appointed commander and political commissar of the Shandong Military Region, and at the same time served as the political commissar and acting commander of the 115th Division. In the early morning of May 14, 1945, Luo Ronghuan led the Shandong Branch of the CPC Central Committee and the organs of the Shandong Military Region to start an anti-"sweeping" operation and moved east to the Steep Mountain Sub-camp. On the 22nd, we went to the village of Lower River.

Xiahe Village belongs to Jubin District, Junan County, Shandong. At that time, Luo Ronghuan was stationed at teng dongyu's house in Xiahe Village. Luo Ronghuan said to the old lady emotionally: "Old sister, you must drink, the Eighth Route Army and the common people are a family, you are our food and clothing parents!"
