Since the construction of the substantial pile foundation in November 2018, the third phase expansion project of Guiyang Longdongbao Airport has pioneered the use of the country's first double casing and double drive full-rotary construction process, and at the same time rationally use BIM technology to do crash tests in the follow-up main structure and various professional construction processes, which is conducive to improving ergonomics and improving the quality of the project, and providing strong technical support for the completion of the established schedule goals. Airport throughput is an important indicator of the degree of economic and social development, civilization, openness and activity of a region. The third phase of the expansion project is designed according to the target of 30 million passengers, 250,000 tons of cargo and mail, and 243,000 aircraft take-offs and landings in 2025.
Outside the construction area of the flight area of the third phase of the expansion project, the reporter saw that the newly built east runway had been put into use, and from time to time there were flights that took off safely and landed smoothly. "On November 5 last year, the East Runway was completed and put into operation, achieving significant results of landmark significance for the development of civil aviation in Guizhou." Liu Mi, communication and navigation project manager of the flight area project, said that the second phase of the construction of the extension and transformation of the west runway was fully rolled out on November 15 last year. The distance between the new and old runways is 365 meters, and a new parallel taxiway with a length of 4,000 meters and a width of 23 meters is built in the middle of the two runways, and 28 various contact channels, and 62 new aircraft platforms are built, and the number of parking spaces at Guiyang Airport will reach 115 after completion.
Supporting area projects are also in full swing. Project manager Zeng Yu told reporters that the 30 sub-projects of the supporting project mainly cover housing construction, municipal facilities, general drawings and information engineering, and it is planned to complete the main projects in June 2021. At the end of last year, 26 sub-projects of supporting projects fully blossomed, of which 9 single projects were completed, the energy center and information center were basically completed, the construction of the north work area has been formed, and the overall image progress is better.
