Rail transit
On the basis of the existing rail transit lines 1 and 2 in Hohhot, the line network is supplemented, encrypted and extended, and the western, eastern and southern regions are further connected to form a network of rail transit. In the future, we will actively promote the planning and construction of rail transit lines 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Rail transit layout
Rail Transit Line 1: East-West backbone line, with 27 stations, the line is mainly laid along Xinhua Avenue, the second phase of the line is connected from the West Second Ring Station, along the Ordos West Street, Xinhua West Street, Guochuang North Street inside the Yili Health Valley to the west, and ends at the intersection of Tumechuan Road on the Ring Expressway.
Rail Transit Line 2: "L" backbone line, with 27 stations, the line starts from the northeast of the black soil concave group, along Genghis Khan Avenue, Meteorological Bureau West Road, Xilin Gol Road, Jinqiao Road, and ends in the southern Jinqiao area.
Rail Transit Line 3: "L" type backbone line, with 29 stations, the line starts from the East of the West Second Ring Road to Zhanggaiying Group, from west to east along Baotou Avenue, Arshan Road, Baoan Street, Manzhouli Road, Lily Road laying, and ends in the Science and Technology City area.
Rail Transit Line 4: North-south encrypted line and airport line, with 22 stations. The central city section is 17km long, with 17 stations, laid along Xing'an Road, and 6 stations in the airport section, starting from the Haoqinying area and ending at the planning of Hohhot's new airport.
Rail Transit Line 4 Branch Line: Line 4 Branch Line has 6 stations. The line is picked up from The Sunshine Street Station of the Airport Section of Line 4, connects with the starting area of Helin New District and Shengyuan District, and is laid along Yunkun West Street, Jinsheng Road, Shengle North Street and Shengle Street, and ends at mengniu Dairy Headquarters.
Rail Transit Line 5: East-west encrypted line, with 30 stations, the line starts in Yulong Industrial Park, along Yunzhong Road, Ordos Avenue, East Second Ring Road, Ruyihe Street, and ends at 32 East Jiangjiaying Group.
Rail Transit Line 6: North-south encrypted line with 16 stations. The line starts at Hohhot Stadium Station, interchange station with Line 2, and is laid along Genghis Khan Avenue, Grassland Pearl Road, Hugang East Road, Livestock East Road, South Second Ring Road, and ends near Nanhu Wetland Park.
Aviation layout
Coordinate and promote the layout of an aviation network that connects the world, reaches the whole country and covers the whole region, with the new airport of Hohhot as the core, and the general airport of Wuchuan County, the general airport of Qingshuihe County, the general airport of Tumut Zuoqi, the general airport of Tokto County and the general airport of Linger County as the support. Efforts should be made to improve the collection and transportation system of Hohhot's new airport, enhance the role of radiation and driving, promote general airports to carry out short-distance transportation, low-altitude tourism, aviation operations and other businesses, and meet the social public service functions such as emergency rescue and medical rescue. By 2035, the administrative centers of all banners, counties and districts under the jurisdiction of Hohhot City will be one hour away from the airport.
