On October 29, Fan Guowen, deputy leader of the First Guidance Group for the Study and Education of Party History of China Railway, and members Guo Qiang and Zang Jiaqi went to the Shanghai Branch of China Railway Construction Engineering Group to conduct research and discussion on the study and education of party history. Deng Yinguo, deputy secretary of the party committee of the group company and chairman of the trade union, the relevant responsible persons of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee (Corporate Culture Department), the Shanghai Branch and more than 30 party member representatives participated in the survey.

Fan Guowen emphasized that carrying out party history study and education is a specific measure to implement the important policy decisions and arrangements of the party Central Committee, which runs through the entire process of ideological and political work and production and operation activities of enterprise party building, and carrying out grass-roots research and study is an important link in the study and education of party history. He affirmed the overall situation of the party history study and education work of the Shanghai branch, holding that the Shanghai branch, as the vanguard of the third-level construction enterprises of China Railway, attaches great importance to the study and education of party history; first, it implements the arrangements of the higher-level party committee without discounting, and the leading body takes the lead in setting an example, guiding party members, cadres, and workers to make full use of red resources, carry out various study activities such as art party classes, with wide coverage, good results, and strong resonance, and give full play to the role of the party branch as a fighting fortress and the vanguard and exemplary role of party members; second, it combines learning with application and pays attention to practice. Focus on "I do practical things for the masses", carry forward the party's fine traditions, sincerely solve the problems of employees, earnestly fulfill the responsibilities of central enterprises, serve the needs of the country and society, and practice the original mission of serving the country and the people with a higher pattern and a wider depth; the third is to attach importance to the transformation of learning achievements, actively promote the study of history to open a new situation, take reform and development as a breakthrough, and carry out comprehensive innovation in key links such as three-year actions, model mechanisms, and management efficiency of state-owned enterprise reform; fourth, adhere to the leadership of party building, strengthen the main business, and optimize the structure. Continuously consolidate the foundation for high-quality development of enterprises. In connection with the key work of party history study and education in the next step, Fan Guowen stressed: First, in connection with the work arrangements of the party committees at higher levels, continue to carry out party history study and education in depth, and do a good job in the key work of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Party, such as the propaganda and study of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Party, the special democratic life meeting, and the summary meeting of party history study and education; the second is to closely integrate the work of the enterprise center to transform the results of party history study and education into doing practical things to promote development; the third is to focus on the annual goals, decisively win the fourth quarter, and ensure the successful completion of the annual tasks and objectives.

Entrusted by the party committee of the group company, Deng Yinguo thanked the First Guidance Group for the Study and Education of Party History of China Railway for going deep into the grass-roots level for its research and guidance, and said that he would implement the work requirements of the guidance group to the letter. Deng Yinguo pointed out that the party history study and education of the Shanghai branch has been carried out in a solid and effective manner, the forms of activities are diverse, and the overall quality is very high; in the next stage, it is necessary to focus on the following five aspects of work: First, do a good job in studying and publicizing the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the CPC; second, continue to carry out the practical activities of "I do practical things for the masses"; third, carry out the theme activities of "ideals and convictions, love the party and the country, and love enterprises"; fourth, do a good job in summarizing the party history study and education meeting and the special democratic life meeting; and fifth, do a good job in preserving the materials in the process of party history study and education. Combined with the work situation in the fourth quarter, Deng Yinguo put forward six requirements for the current work of the Shanghai branch: First, to maintain the advanced and carry out the activity of "achieving standards and creating a good competition"; second, to implement the three-year action of state-owned enterprise reform; third, to carefully organize and carry out the theme activity of "learning from the history of the party, doing practical things, strengthening the foundation, and promoting promotion"; fourth, actively participating in the group company's "decisive victory in the fourth quarter" labor competition and striving for good results; fifth, carrying out a good employee care project; sixth, effectively doing a good job in the prevention and control of the new crown epidemic.
