This season's Championship winner was Leeds United, who was promoted two rounds earlier, while Premier League regular West Bromwich Albion, despite a 2-2 draw with Queen's Park Rangers in the last round, still finished second and rose directly into the Premier League.
In terms of relegation zones, three well-known teams were eventually relegated to League One. Hull City fell through the second half, scoring only 6 points in the last 20 rounds, accumulating 45 points as a deputy squad leader to relegate to League One; and Charlton, who had a good start, finally returned to League One after a season of promotion to the Championship under Lee Bower;
The most unfortunate thing is the relegation demon Wigan Athletic, although they have 59 points in the standings, but because the team is bankrupt, 12 points will be deducted this season, so they finally score 47 points, unfortunately relegated.
