The law of cause and effect
The famous philosopher Bacon once said, "He who understands the cause and effect of things is happy." Just as "things have an end, things have an end" and "planting melons to get melons, planting beans to get beans", if we want to harvest happiness, we must first plant the seeds of happiness.
If you feel that life is dull, you should check how much you have paid. I rarely hear people complain: "I go to bed early and get up early every day, exercise regularly, constantly enrich myself, cultivate interpersonal relationships, and work hard, but there is no good thing in life." 」 "Life is a causal loop, and if there's nothing good in life, it's your fault. As long as you understand that your current situation is caused by yourself, you will no longer feel like a victim.
Maybe you will retort: "In life, some people live a dull life and feel very happy, while some people have achieved great results, but they feel that happiness is far away from themselves." Obviously inconsistent with the law of causation. In fact, the reason why this seemingly contradictory phenomenon occurs is because happiness is a very subjective emotional experience.
Martin Seligman, a well-known Psychologist and professor at the University of Pennsylvania, said that happiness = happiness + intention + participation. He tells us that happiness does not come in vain, not in a passive way, but in the presence of the ability to be happy, the intention to attain happiness, and the ability to actively participate. If you feel like you're not happy enough right now, it's time to look at yourself soberly. Understand that it is pointless to blindly complain or sigh about the past, rather than being depressed and withering, it is better to cherish the present, live actively, and let "today" become the reason for "tomorrow" happiness.
