The cumulative sliding of the 144-meter large-span tension string truss of the convention center is completed

On January 26, 2021, the second phase of the Hefei Binhu International Convention and Exhibition Center project, which was built by the Anhui Branch of China Construction Second Bureau East China Company, ushered in the key node of the cumulative slip construction of the nine trusses. After 4 hours, the ninth truss successfully slid into place, which also meant that the project's slippage work was successfully completed.

Hefei Binhu International Convention and Exhibition Center Phase II is located in Baohe District, Hefei City, Anhui Province, the roof truss of The No. 2 comprehensive exhibition hall adopts the structural form of the zhangxin space truss, the plane size is 192 * 170m, and the maximum column-free span of the main truss is 144m. It is the largest span of the zhang string truss of similar venues in China, with a single truss of 165 tons.

On the same day, after a comprehensive inspection of the equipment and structure and the conditions for slippage, the last skidding of the main truss was officially launched at 9:00 a.m. on January 26, 2021. A total of 15 crawlers are set up on the skid track. The computer synchronous control system synchronizes the displacement of each point in the slip process. "At the same time, combined with the real-time health monitoring technology of the steel structure, we monitor the stress strain and displacement deformation of the truss string rod, belly rod, brace rod, rope force and slip beam in the whole process of slip to ensure the safety of the structure itself." Zhou Shengli, commander-in-chief of the project, said. Finally, after 4 hours, the ninth truss successfully slid into place, which also meant that the project's slippage work was successfully completed.

It is reported that the roof of the No. 2 comprehensive exhibition hall of the project is divided into 10 trusses, the first 9 are constructed by cumulative slip method, and the 10th truss is constructed in situ. "A total of 9 slips are required, this is the 9th slip, with a total slip tonnage of about 3200 tons and a total slide of 18 meters." Zhou Shengli introduced.

The second phase of Hefei Binhu International Convention and Exhibition Center is a key project in Anhui Province, and after completion, it will become the largest comprehensive exhibition hall in East China and become a window for Hefei to connect with the world. The successful completion of the cumulative slippage of the large-span truss also means the successful completion of the roof truss stage, laying a solid foundation for the construction of metal roofing and curtain wall in the coming year.
