George shot 12 points on 20-pointers as the Clippers lost to the Cavaliers and Sexton 26 points

In the NBA regular season, the Cavaliers won 92-79 on the road to the Clippers.

Mobley scored the first point of the game, and Zubac's quick break scored the first point for the Clippers. But then the offense stalled, the Cavaliers relied on Garland's two consecutive three-pointers to lead by seven points, and Kennard responded with three points after the two sides were frantic. Sexton scored consecutive points at the end of the quarter, with the Cavaliers leading the Clippers 23-14 in the first quarter.

Sexton scored another dunk in the second quarter after the Cavaliers led by 11 points. Bledsoe and Winslow both scored, but Garland and Markkanen's scores widened the point differential to 15 points. Kennard and Batum stopped the bleeding with three points, George scored consecutive points, Batum hit another three pointers at the end of the quarter, and the Clippers were still trailing 40-47 at halftime.

After the battle again, Sexton was 2+1, and Reggie responded with three points. Batum scored seven straight points to narrow the gap to three, but then Rubio made a layup, Stevens made a dunk, Loew hit a three-pointer, and the difference returned to 10 points after 7-0. Reggie scored 11 straight points to close the gap again, but the Cavaliers continued to make free throws at the end of the quarter and still led 72-64 after three quarters.

Zubac went on a pie in the fourth quarter, but Rubio also made a series of shots, and Mobley and Sexton each scored before the Cavaliers led by 14 points again. George scored with a quick dunk and a throw, but beyond that, the Clippers' offense felt cold, scoring only 8 points in the 9 minutes of the quarter. Sexton's mid-range shooting has reached 16 points, and the game has lost suspense.

Sexton had 26 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals and 5 turnovers, Mobley had 12 points and 10 rebounds, Garland had 16 points, 6 assists and 6 turnovers, Rubio had 15 points and 4 turnovers, and Luff had 10 points and 10 rebounds. On the Clippers side, George had 12 points, 10 rebounds, 4 steals and 4 turnovers on 6-of-20 shooting, Reggie Jackson scored 16 points on 6-of-15 shooting, Batum had 16 points and Zubac 11 points, and the Clippers shot only 35.6% of the game.
