
The NBA regular season continued on Oct. 30, culminating in a 111-92 victory over the Clippers by the Blazers.
At the beginning of the first quarter, the Blazers took the lead and scored four points first, followed by Reggie, George and Bledsoe to hit four consecutive three-pointers to make it 12-2! Covington stopped the bleeding with three points, but Reggie and George hit another three-pointer to lead the team 8-0 to continue to extend the lead! After scoring each, the Blazers scored a 6-0 close score, but Kofi won the three-pointer to stabilize the situation. But in the end, the Blazers hit a 6-0 comeback score! The Blazers led by one point in the first quarter at 25-24.
In the second quarter, Powell led a wave of 11-2 points to open the point difference! George scored consecutive jump shots to stop the bleeding, but Lillard and Powell hit three consecutive three-pointers to extend the lead at 8-0! The Clippers could only rely on George to hold on, and he scored five points in a row. George scored again after scoring, and the Blazers led by eight points at 48-40 at halftime. George scored 22 points at halftime.
Easy side to fight again, George hit a penalty and then the Blazers blasted a wave of 13-0 to open the point difference in an instant! George scored 37 points in the third quarter.
The final quarter began, the two sides came and went to score each other, George's jump shot was only 4 points behind, but then the Blazers broke out to play a wave of 12-2 to open up the point difference again! George quickly made a 2+1 stop, but Lillard's three-pointer and Newquay's layups led the Blazers to 16 points! With three minutes left, the Clippers withdrew all of their main players and announced that they were abandoning the game.
