According to the Saudi State News Agency, Saudi Crown Prince Salman announced on the 29th that Riyadh has officially submitted an application to host the 2030 World Expo, with the theme of "The Era of Change: Leading the Earth towards a Visionary Tomorrow".

The application has been submitted to the Expo organiser, the Bureau for International Exhibitions (BIE), which is initiated by the Royal Commission of Riyadh (RCRC), of which the Crown Prince is chaired.

Sheikh Mohammed, Vice President of the Uae and Chief of Dubai, expressed support for Saudi Arabia's bid to host Expo 2030, and he will share With Saudi Arabia seven years of experience in Dubai's preparations for the Expo.

Crown Prince Salman said the Expo 2030 in Riyadh coincided with the culmination of the country's Vision 2030, and Saudi Arabia would export experience and lessons from economic reforms.
