Description: Arthropod phylum, Insecta, Coleoptera, Rhinoceros, Weeperaceae. Adults are up to 127 mm long and about 40 mm thick. Black or dark brown throughout. Males have well-developed head horns and thick chest horns protruding deeply in the left and right directions, while females have no head horns, black throughout, and rough particles in the center of the dorsal plate and elytra of the forethia. This species is the largest known male in the genus Weevil. It is found on the American continent between southern United States and South America
