Original form stone slug, hermaphrodite. It is a large stalked cranberry. The body is divided into a cephalic part and a stalk. Generally, the head-like part is 30 mm wide and 22 mm wide, pale yellowish-green, and consists of 8 large main shell plates; including the shortest snout plate, followed by 2 basal broad, obliquely triangular lintels, followed by a single peak plate, and a row of small shell plates with about 24 pieces at the base. There are obvious growth lines on the surface of each shell plate; the number of small shell plates can increase or decrease with individuals. The stalk is about 30 mm long and 30 mm wide, yellowish brown, soft and edible flesh, and the appearance is covered with small, tightly arranged calcareous scales. The whole is facing upwards on the abdomen, the head forms a coat to envelop the body part, the antennae are degenerated, the mouthparts have 1 pair of large jaws, 2 pairs of small jaws, and 6 pairs of curled two-limbed thoraxes.
Habitat division ecological environment: often densely packed, with the handle fixed in the middle and high tide zone, seawater clear rock crevices, the handle has elasticity, sometimes with the vine foot protruding out of the shell, feeding on small animals, when touched, it is tightened into the stone crevice.

Pharmacological effect 1. With the administration of high doses of isoproterenol and then decompression, its protective effect is obvious. The rabbit's own control showed that for the ischemic changes in ecglycemia caused by posterior pituitary lobulin, the injection of stone slug extract had a certain modification and deceleration effect. It can constrict the blood vessels in the rabbit ear, but has little effect on the blood flow of the coronary blood in vivo rabbits. The decoction solution is fed to the stomach of mice, and the effect is slightly worse.

For the effect of smooth muscle, the stone slug extract can strengthen the rhythmic contraction of the isolated rabbit intestine, but has an antispasmodic effect on the ankylosing contraction of the intestinal segment caused by ethylcholine and barium chloride, and can be completely opposed when the concentration is increased, so that the tension is reduced to the level of the basic line, the contraction curve is restored, and the amplitude is large. The extract can also partially combat drug-induced uterine rigid contractions in guinea pigs.
