In the online shop opened by Jiang Mou, all kinds of wild animals are available, and sold throughout the country through the network, in order to avoid risks, he uses the method of "watching goods in the live broadcast room, and the online store takes the corresponding amount of link" to trade.
From March to July, the public security organs at the two levels of Jiaxing and Tongxiang in Zhejiang Province mobilized more than 50 police forces to collect nets in Tongxiang, Shandong, Jinan, Shandong, Shenzhen, Guangdong and other places to crack the case of illegal sale of rare and endangered wild animals, arrested a total of 11 criminal suspects, 5 people have taken criminal compulsory measures, eliminated 4 illegal sales dens, 2 illegal breeding dens, seized more than 1,000 horned frogs, more than 800 shougong, more than 5,000 bird spiders, and more than 300 rainforest scorpions.

Among the species seized, the Mexican firefoot bird catcher, the Mexican red-tailed bird catcher, the West Brother red-knee bird catcher, the Honduran curly-haired spider and the monarch scorpion were listed in Appendix II of the CITES Convention.
In March this year, the Tongxiang Municipal Public Security Bureau found that Wu Mou, a Tongxiang resident, was suspected of illegally purchasing conservation Mexican bird-catching spiders. After investigation, these bird-catching spiders are from an online shop in Shenzhen.
Through further investigation, it was found that the online store has long been illegally operating wild animals, and displayed a variety of rare wild animals through two live broadcast rooms, fans recorded the number and price of the species they wanted to buy in the live broadcast room, and contacted customer service to take a picture of the corresponding amount of links and quantities in the store to complete the transaction. There are more than 3 million fans in the live broadcast room, more than 100,000 daily online users, and sales in the past year are more than 10 million yuan.
In view of the seriousness of the case, the public security organs at the Jiaxing and Tongxiang levels attach great importance to it and immediately set up a special case team to investigate and handle the case.
After more than a month of meticulous investigation, a criminal gang led by Jiang Mou and his wife illegally selling rare and endangered wild animals surfaced, involving more than 20 provinces and cities across the country, including Zhejiang, Guangdong, Shanghai, Shandong, and Jiangsu.
On April 16, with the cooperation of the Shandong police, the special case team arrested 7 criminal suspects jiang mou and Mao mou in Jinan, and removed 2 illegal sales dens and 1 illegal breeding den, and seized more than 1,000 horned frogs, more than 800 shougong, more than 2,000 bird-catching spiders, and more than 100 scorpions.
In May, the Zhejiang Provincial Public Security Department listed the case as a supervision case, demanding that all efforts be made to investigate the case and find out the source of the bird-catching spiders that belong to Appendix II of the CITES Convention.
Through interrogation, the criminal suspect Jiang Mou confessed that the bird-catching spider species spider involved in the case was sold by Jiang Mou, a well-known "climbing pet player" in the circle.
After more than a month of investigation, analysis and judgment, the special case team finally found out the criminal suspect Jiang Mou's modus operandi and the breeding points and warehouse dens of conservation spiders.
On July 14, with the cooperation of the Shenzhen police, the special case team arrested three criminal suspects including Jiang Mou in a rental house in Longgang District, removed 2 illegally sold dens and 1 illegal breeding den, and seized more than 200 corn snakes, more than 100 shougong, more than 200 scorpions, and more than 5,000 bird-catching spiders (of which 2,925 belong to the protected animals of Appendix II).

Through the docking of the Zhejiang Provincial Public Security Department, more than 3,000 protected animals belonging to Appendix II have been handed over to the Zhejiang and Guangdong Wildlife Rescue Centers for proper disposal.
After interrogation, it was learned that between 2016 and 2017, the criminal suspect Jiang Mou purchased various bird-catching spiders through overseas websites without obtaining a wildlife business license and domestication certificate, and then smuggled a large number of foreign precious species from Europe into the country through air courier. In addition, he also learns the cultivation techniques from the seller, breeding at home, and after breeding, he sells through the online store. In the second half of 2019, after the website removed all the conservation spiders, the suspects still sold a large number of conservation bird spiders by noting online store products, involving tens of thousands of rare and endangered wild animals, knowing that the conservation spiders could not be sold without a license.
At present, the criminal suspects Jiang Mou, Jiang Mou and other 5 people have been taken criminal compulsory measures by the police in accordance with the law for suspected illegal sale of rare and endangered wild animals.
