On the afternoon of October 28, the symposium on "Yangtze River Delta Integration & Supply Chain Innovation and Development" sponsored by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation was held in Ningbo. Representatives from provincial and municipal industrial and information departments, chemical parks and enterprises attended the meeting, and Inspector Dai Dirong of the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang Province attended and delivered a speech.
The symposium was presided over by Zhao Jungui, vice president of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.

Chairman Zhao pointed out in the chair that since the integration of the Yangtze River Delta was elevated to a national strategy, the concept of collaborative development has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, the integration and coordination have gradually deepened, and the industrial chain supply chain has been more flexibly adapted and expanded. It is necessary for the parks to communicate and discuss together. Yangtze River Delta Petrochemical occupies an important position in the national petrochemical industry pattern, and has the location advantage and market advantage of developing the middle and high-end industrial chain. The Yangtze River Delta is the agglomeration area and pilot area of strategic emerging industries such as high-end fine chemicals and new chemical materials in China, and the pioneer and leader of the green and low-carbon development of China's petrochemical industry.
At the symposium, Inspector Dai Dirong of the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang Province delivered a speech, expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the conference, and welcomed everyone to participate in the conference every year in the future. He described the three characteristics of Zhejiang's petrochemical industry and shared Zhejiang's practices and ideas on low-carbon development, circular economy and digitalization of industrial processes.

Ma Jing, secretary of the party group and director of the Management Committee of the Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone, said in his speech that the Yangtze River Delta Chemical Industry Park should do a good job in four articles, one is to do a good job in the basic industries and strategic emerging industries, the second is to do a good job in the development and safety of the chemical industry, the third is to do a good job in the green and environmental protection of the chemical industry, and the fourth is to do a good job in the chemical industry in the resources and energy. He believes that enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta Chemical Park should take responsibility, play a benchmarking role, implement a more integrated industrial cluster, pay more attention to scientific and technological innovation, pay more attention to the circular economy, and pay attention to the construction of digital chemical parks. Cheng Zhigao, deputy director of the Management Committee of Zhoushan Green Petrochemical Base, introduced the basic situation of the base and shared three paths in carbon reduction, one is to rely on the existing 40 million tons of fuel for refining and chemical integration projects, deepen the industrial chain, and enhance the overall competitiveness and overall efficiency of the industrial chain; the second is to adjust the energy structure, reduce coal and increase natural gas; and third, consider the introduction of clean energy and nuclear power. At the same time, it also reflects the demands of high-quality development of the park at this stage.

Ye Bin, deputy director of the Management Committee of Anqing High-tech Zone, briefly introduced the current situation of the park and proposed that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the park should strive to achieve the transformation from a provincial high-tech zone to a national high-tech zone, from a traditional industrial park to a high-tech park, and from a chemical park to a green park. At the same time, four important tasks for the next development of the park are proposed.

The symposium invited guests from DNV to share a special topic on system safety to promote the sustainable development of the park. Gao Qinzhong, General Manager of the Risk Consulting Department of DNV Energy System Department, introduced the content and functions of the International Safety and Sustainable Development Assessment System (ISRS), and shared the case of using the system to promote safety management and overall management level in Wanhua and other parks, providing a reference for the safe development of petrochemical parks.

At the symposium, Zhang Xu, vice president of Zhejiang Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, Yang Shengping, director of the Information Department of Shanghai Chemical Industry Association, Ye Bin, deputy director of the Management Committee of Anqing High-tech Zone, and Yang Kejian, deputy director of Jiaxing Park of China Chemical New Materials, spoke successively, introduced the development of chemical parks and industries, and exchanged experiences and practices on low-carbon and high-quality development. Baitao Industrial Park, Zhejiang Dushan Port Economic Development Zone, Quzhou Smart New City, Taizhou Pharmaceutical Base and other parks attended and participated in the discussion.
After listening to everyone's speeches, Chairman Zhao Jungui summed up. He pointed out that the "double carbon" goal has brought challenges to the development of China's petrochemical industry, but also brought opportunities, chemical parks should strengthen their faith, recognize the new opportunities for the development of the industry, and adhere to the road of green and sustainable development; secondly, the in-depth promotion of petrochemical integration in the Yangtze River Delta needs to improve the degree of coordination with integrated ideas, do a good job of planning docking and industrial docking; third, it is necessary to increase innovation, gradually break through the industrial blockages of the card neck, create a more high-end, more resilient industrial chain, and take the road of high-quality development. It is believed that in the near future, a world-class petrochemical industry will be born in the Yangtze River Delta region. At the same time, he also said that the Petrochemical Federation will further do a good job in industry services, build a docking platform, help the park to solve difficulties, innovate and develop, and play an active role in the future of high-quality development of the petrochemical industry in the Yangtze River Delta.
