A bit of a fan! The mysterious hacking group leaked "confidential" information from the Israeli Ministry of Defense, and the media found that the photos did not look sensitive

(RT: Hackers leak private information about "IDF soldiers" and photos of the commander-in-law, and also claim to have more confidential documents)

Earlier this week, the hacking group posted multiple photos of Gantz on its website and Telegram channel, claiming to have obtained "confidential documents" about the country's Defense Ministry and Gantz himself.

"For years, we've been spying on you, monitoring every moment of you, monitoring every step of your way. All your decisions, words and deeds are under our watch. Eventually, we'll hit you in ways you didn't expect. The hacking group also vowed to release more classified information to "let the world know about the crimes of the Israeli 'authorities.'"

The group's published photos are of unclear origin, but they are insensitive and mostly show Gantz meeting with his colleagues and other mundane missions. Another photo shows a copy of a private letter allegedly sent in 2010 by Gantz to a member of the Jordanian armed forces, in which Gantz thanked the latter for his "support and friendship."

RT said it is reported that the hacking group also leaked personal information including names, telephone numbers, home addresses, identity card numbers and other relevant personnel of the Israeli Ministry of Defense and the IDF.

The report said that although no official confirmed that the Israeli Ministry of Defense had been attacked by the Internet, the Israeli National Cyber Directorate issued a notice on the 27th to warn that some software had potential vulnerabilities.

The RT also said that while there are reports claiming that the hacking group is behind Iranians, so far there is no evidence of the group's nationality. The group's official Twitter account was created earlier this month, and the Hebrew language on it indicates that its location is "Jerusalem."
