Doyoung's parents, as well as his older brother, actor Gong Myung, are very active sports enthusiasts! In fact, his father is a professional weightlifter, his mother is a professional runner, these two professions are really very nervous, very powerful! Unlike his parents and older siblings, though, Doyoung never had an interest in sports.
2. He has a particularly useful skill.

When Dooung joined SM Entertainment, he told his friends he was dropping out of school — but he said it was because he was going abroad, not because he was accepted by the company. So later, when his friends saw him in a video about SM Entertainment trainees, they were stunned!
6. He had an unusual job before his debut.
Shortly after being introduced as a trainee, Doyoung was actually assigned to co-host Show Champion with Jae Hyun (Zheng Zaiying), which is very unusual for a trainee.
