The Newfoundland White Wolf, also known as the North American White Wolf, is the only pure white wolf species on Earth. The white wolf has beautiful white hair and a feminine figure, and some people have poetically imagined it as the "wolf of dreams".
They are a large, long-headed wolf species with a white body and only a light ivory head and feet.

In 1911, they became the first of many subspecies of the North American gray wolf to become extinct.
The warming of the foot pads of these behemoths is independent of the rest of the body, and when the palm pads come into contact with ice and snow, they can be maintained at temperatures slightly higher than tissue frostbite. White wolves have a hairy tail, are good at running fast and long distances, prefer to live in groups, and often chase and hunt.
Wolves usually have their own hunting fields and have hunting-specific passages, which are sometimes up to 100 km long. Near these passages, a variety of prey is often found. Wolves often patrol these hunting lanes and apply odorous fluid or feces secreted by the body everywhere as markers of their own territory.
When they hunt prey, they line up in a column, slowly advancing at a speed of 26-40 kilometers per hour, chasing tens of kilometers until the old and infirm prey of the prey is left behind, and they rush up to divide and eat.
As carnivores, white wolves most commonly prey on reindeer, and small animals beavers, voles, and other rodents are also on their menus.
North American white wolves live in groups, with males and females divided into different classes, with dominant males and females breeding at will, while lower-ranking individuals are not free to choose. The spring and summer seasons are their breeding seasons.
Female wolves give birth to children in underground caves, and female wolves give birth to three to nine baby wolves after sixty-three days of pregnancy, and there are twelve or three. The little wolf, who has no self-defense ability, has to spend some time in the cave, and the male wolf is responsible for hunting food. The baby wolf feeds for about five or six months, but it can also eat some minced meat in a month and a half. Three- or four-month-old wolves can follow their parents to hunt. After half a year, the little wolf learned to find food to eat on his own.
In 1842, the local government of Newfoundland, England, on the pretext of protecting reindeer from the threat of wolves, ordered a reward for the hunting and poisoning of white wolves, male wolves, she-wolves, and young wolves. The white wolves are clever and tenacious, lying day and night, and the vast ice and snow completely cover their tracks, and it is not easy to hunt. With the continuous influx of immigrants, white wolves are chased to the point of no return, coupled with the wide distribution of white wolves, conflicts with people are inevitable, so that people hate white wolves even more, and white wolves are killed one after another.
People even inject strychnine into deer carcasses and place them where white wolves might pass, so that neither male or female wolves nor small wolves can escape their fate. This poisoning method not only killed white wolves, but other wild animals were often not spared. In 1911, the white wolf was devastated and subsequently extinct.
