Amelia Forman is an unusual teenage girl who has developed a deep bond with animals since she was a child, growing up with them like a sibling.

Amelia's mother is a professor of photography and a photographer for the series Robin Schwartz. She began photographing Amelia's emotional exchanges with animals 12 years ago.

For Amelia, it was so natural to be so close to animals, like dogs, cats, horses, monkeys, kangaroos, fawns, etc., that she forgot that these were special friends.

Schwartz said: "I photograph the emotions of my daughter with animals, and this is not a documentary photography. We are looking for a world of exploration and a co-written myth where humans and animals coincide, they are part of the world, and we humans are part of them. ”

After Schwartz's first book, Amelia's World, was completed, she raised funds to publish a second, Amelia and the Animals, which contained more photographs of Amelia and her interactions with animals, including some never-before-published works.
