Impersonate customer service refund scams
On October 11, Ms. Wu of Nanhai received a strange phone call saying that her courier was lost in transit and could apply for double compensation. After Ms. Wu agreed, she was pulled into a "Claim Center" QQ group by the other party, and the other party asked her to receive the reserve fund in Alipay as compensation. Subsequently, the other party claimed that he had received too much and needed to return it, and asked him to transfer all the deposits in the card to the designated account on the grounds that he would freeze the funds in his bank card if he did not follow the instructions. Panicked, Ms. Wu operated according to the instructions of the other party and was finally defrauded of 45482 yuan.
