Master moves, chess meets opponents

Backgammon is one of the competitive events of the National Intelligence Games, which is a purely strategic board game played by two people, which helps students to develop intelligence, cultivate logical thinking and imagination ability, promote analytical ability and memory, and improve the agility and rigor of thinking. At the same time, it can cultivate students' tenacious and courageous, perseverance, composure, wit and flexibility and other excellent will qualities, enhance friendship, and cultivate elegant sentiments.

On the afternoon of March 13, 2021, the staff of Ciheng gaoluo station organized the children of Yitong Paradise to carry out the activity of "playing backgammon".

First, the teacher presents the board and the pieces, and explains the structure of the board and how to form the arrangement of the five sons. Then teach the children two ways to play backgammon. Gameplay 1: Both sides use black and white pieces, play on the intersection of the straight line and horizontal line of the chessboard, and the first to form a five-son line wins. Gameplay two: form a five-son line to replace any of the opponent's pieces, the replaced pieces can exchange pieces with the other party, and finally the side that finishes all the pieces first wins.

Subsequently, all the students found good partners to start practicing, learning from each other for tens of minutes, no longer able to hide the sharp edge, and the surging hearts began to look for opponents to compete with each other. Meet a strong opponent, scratch your cheeks, scratch your head, sword and light on the chessboard, chess meets your opponent, and the narrow road meets the brave to win!

Through this activity, students not only grasp the historical origin of backgammon, but also cultivate students' good sense of chess morality, such as the good psychological quality of winning and not winning and defeating in the game.
