In 2013, the 33-episode anti-war drama "Taierzhuang" produced by Zaozhuang Weishanhu Film and Television Culture Communication Co., Ltd. was written by Gao Feng, directed by Liu Biao, and starred Fu Dalong, Jiang Hongbo, Yang Haoyu, Sun Lei, Xu Cenzi and Li Jinzhe. The drama was later renamed "Taierzhuang Past" and "Iron-Blooded Taierzhuang". It premiered on Tianjin Film and Tv Channel on March 9, 2015, and on March 14 of the same year, it aired on Sichuan Satellite TV's golden file, and somehow, only two episodes could be urgently stopped, and there has been no more follow-up.

The TV series tells the story of Xiao Changya and his master being robbed by mountain bandits, and surviving him for returning to Taierzhuang from a phosphorus fire in the cemetery, and after the outbreak of the plague in Taicheng, he was superstitiously used as a source of disaster and sentenced to death. During the execution, he was rescued by his brother and others, fled Taicheng, and went around doing business. In the spring of 1938, he happened to see the news that the richest man, Yan Zhitang, wanted to sell 100,000 wharves, so he planned to return to Taierzhuang, buy the wharf, and start an industry. After returning to the city, he ended his feud and fulfilled the marriage between Lu Yongshan and his first love Wan Xiaoju; then went to Teng County to supervise the goods sent to Japan for the Yan family, and established a love affair with Yan Xiangyun, the eldest lady of the Yan family. After the fall of Teng County, Taierzhuang began to withdraw the city, and Xiao changed his teeth to save money and help the people. When the great war broke out, in the face of national disasters and family enmity, Xiao Yiya resolutely gave up the industry and formed a civilian death squad. The daredevils used folk wisdom and unique skills to compete with the Japanese special forces. Among them, LU Yongshan, Wan Xiaozao, and his wife, members of the CPC, in order to win the opportunity for the Chinese army to fight, spied on the thunder with their bodies and sacrificed heroically. The Chinese military and civilians fought together, and the Japanese army was gradually defeated. On April 7, 1938, the Chinese military and civilian counterattacked, and the Battle of Taierzhuang was won.
