Yoon Yong-chan said that during the talks between the two leaders, The wife of the ROK president, Kim Jong-sook, members of the special entourage accompanying the DPRK, and people from the financial circles will meet and exchange views with people from the DPRK side.
On the morning of the 18th, South Korean President Moon Jae-in arrived in Pyongyang, North Korea, and began a three-day visit to the DPRK. Moon Jae-in is the third South Korean president to visit North Korea after Kim Dae-jung (2000) and Roh Moo-hyun (2007).
At 8:55 a.m. local time in South Korea, Mr. and Mrs. Moon's Air Force One took off from Seoul Airport in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, and arrived at Pyongyang's Shun'an International Airport at 9:49 a.m. North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un and his wife, Lee Seok-ju, personally went to the airport to wait. When Moon arrived at the airport and disembarked, Mr. and Mrs. Kim approached the plane and shook hands with Mr. and Mrs. Moon.

Subsequently, the leaders of the Two Koreas jointly reviewed the honor guard. This is the second time that the President of the Republic of Korea has reviewed the Honor Guard of the DPRK Army, the last time being on June 13, 2000, when then-President Kim Dae-jung visited the DPRK and inspected the Honor Guard of the DPRK Army.
Kim Yong-nam, chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Choe Yong-hae, vice chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, and Kim Yo-jong, kim Jong-un's sister and first vice minister of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, also accompanied Kim Jong-un to the airport to greet Moon Jae-in and his wife at the airport. Citizens of Pyongyang also held up the Korean Peninsula flag and the North Korean flag to welcome Moon Jae-in and his wife.

Subsequently, Moon Jae-in, accompanied by Kim Jong-un, drove to the Pyongyang Hundred Gardens State Guesthouse, and the time of the special car arriving at the hotel was about 20 minutes later than expected, Yin Yongcan said that on the way to the Hundred Gardens State Guesthouse, North Korean residents held street tours to welcome Moon Jae-in's visit.
Moon Jae-in has lunch at The Hundred Gardens and takes a break, and will hold the first meeting of the third Moon-Kim meeting with Kim Jong-un from 3:30 p.m.
After the talks, the leaders of the ROK and the DPRK will go to the Mulan Pavilion, the banquet hall of the DPRK state guests, to attend the welcome dinner.
Earlier, the Blue House said that the three major topics of the summit include promoting the DPRK-US denuclearization dialogue, improving inter-Korean relations, ending military tensions and the threat of war.
The third "Golden Moon Meeting" will last until the morning of the 19th. Ren Zhongchen, director of the Presidential Secretariat Office of the South Korean Blue House, said on the 17th that he looked forward to the two sides jointly holding a press conference to publish the results of the consultations after the talks on the morning of the 19th. It is expected that the two sides will also be likely to reach agreement on some military issues, such as easing tensions and preventing armed conflict, which have been discussed in the meantime. After Moon Jae-in has completed all his visit to north Korea, he will return to China on the 20th.
