The food and culture festival consists of three parts: the cooking competition of the faculty and staff representative teams of each trade union, the teacher science (Tao Ranju) company, the chef skill display of the logistics support service department, and the observation and tasting of the whole school faculty and staff. At the same time, Leshan Thumb Cake Co., Ltd. and Leshan Zhongkou Laughing Food Co., Ltd. (Campus Bakery) provided cakes and other sponsorships for the on-site faculty and staff.
In the faculty cooking competition, more than 80 faculty members from 20 branches of our school participated in the competition, from selecting vegetables, washing vegetables, to cutting vegetables, stir-frying, laying dishes, etc., cooperating with each other and working together, which fully demonstrated the wonderful cooking skills and unity and cooperation spirit of our faculty and staff team. The judges made a comprehensive evaluation from several aspects such as knife technology, cooking skills, color, incense, taste, shape, quality, nourishment, and utensils, and finally the trade union of the logistics support service part, the branch trade union of the School of Literature and Journalism won the first prize, the 4 representative teams such as the branch of the Sports College won the second prize, the 5 representative teams such as the trade union of the School of Design won the third prize, and the division company won the excellent organization award.
In the display of chef skills of the Logistics Support Department and Shike (Taoranju) Company, the canteens participating in the exhibition took out the unique work of housekeeping, and completed the pearl glutinous rice root pills, three-color chicken soup fish balls, mei pepper Wen Ha zai chicken, flavor crispy ribs, original white jade beef, farmhouse cumin tofu, egg yolk crispy chicken diced, apricot abalone mushroom roasted duck, dry pot spicy brine spelling, Hongyun sweet and sour carp, Mei Ya Qingyun, duck palm plucking green wave, drunken tango, soul pot potatoes, yam beef granules, bacon emerald, egg skin spinach rolls, dry pot ribs, chicken claws, Fragrant bowls and other 20 dishes, the exhibited dishes have different forms, shape carving, dish innovation cooking, a variety of delicious dishes, highlighting the chefs' superb knife skills and the perfect combination of food and art, praised by everyone, have taken a group photo.
Finally, after the judges' evaluation and scoring, and the on-site faculty and staff WeChat voting, 10 dishes such as Hongyun sweet and sour carp and Mei ya Qingyun were selected as the favorite dishes of leshan Normal University in 2020.
