On October 28, the 4th Huaihai Economic Zone Coordinated Development Consultative Conference was held in Jining, and relevant leaders from 10 member cities of the Huaihai Economic Zone and relevant responsible persons of the National Development and Reform Commission from 10 member cities of the Huaihai Economic Zone in Suzhou, Luzhou, Henan and Anhui provinces attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Ma Shuhua, deputy secretary general of Jining Municipal Government and director of the Municipal Government Office.
At the meeting, Gu Yuncheng, director of the Coordinated Development Office of the Huaihai Economic Zone, briefed on the development of coordinated development in 2021. Gu Yuncheng pointed out that since the Third Huaihai Economic Zone Collaborative Development Symposium, member cities and thematic working groups have closely focused on the work deployment of the conference, strengthened docking and communication, joined hands in pragmatic cooperation, and successfully completed the annual work goals and tasks.
In the field of improving the working mechanism and strengthening regional coordination and linkage, the 10 member cities of the Huaihai Economic Zone have fully activated the linkage effect of coordinated development, promoted the landing and transformation of the results of the meeting, effectively done a good job in field research and visits, improved the linkage mechanism for epidemic prevention and control, and realized the efficient linkage between member cities in terms of transportation, industry, environmental protection, social undertakings and epidemic prevention and control;
In the area of focusing on key areas and promoting regional coordinated development, member cities have focused on promoting the implementation of the "Huaihai Economic Zone Transportation Integration Cooperation Framework Agreement", continuously expanding the various forms of industrial synergy, conscientiously doing a good job in the joint prevention and control of the ecological environment, and achieving remarkable results in the key areas of regional development of the Huaihai Economic Zone;
In the field of building platform carriers and enhancing the support of coordinated development, the member cities of the Huaihai Economic Zone take the establishment of multiple types of professional organizations as the starting point to stimulate the tension of regional coordinated development through the platform effect. According to incomplete statistics, as of now, the Huaihai Economic Zone has set up more than 50 platform carriers, involving the people's congress, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the provident fund, market supervision, agriculture and rural areas, police, science and technology and other fields, providing a strong support force for regional coordinated development;
In exploring cooperation models, deepening cooperation in adjacent regions, consolidating and upgrading the strategic cooperation between Xusu (Prefecture), promoting the deepening of strategic cooperation between Xuzhou and Huaihai, and accelerating the coordinated development of the Weishan Lake area, we have continuously innovated cooperation models and expanded development space, realizing the common demands of coordinated development, synchronous advancement and win-win cooperation among the member cities of the Huaihai Economic Zone.
The meeting issued the "2022 Huaihai Economic Zone Coordinated Development Work Points", and the deputy secretaries-general and relevant leaders of the member cities made exchange speeches and deliberations on the themes of cooperation agreements and work points, and put forward opinions and suggestions on the next step of coordinated development work. The fourth Huaihai Economic Zone Coordinated Development (Jining) Symposium will be held in Jining on November 25-26 under the guidance of the Regional Economic Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, undertaken by the CPC Jining Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and co-organized by the member cities of the Huaihai Economic Zone.
