Grey-sided Laughingthrush is a genus of noise grebes of the family Cyprinidae, medium-sized, with a white lower body, gray ear feathers, and a tan-brown partridge (24 cm) on the top of the head. It is found in the eastern part of the Himalayas to southwestern China, southeastern Tibet, and northern Myanmar. A large number of pictures on the Internet mistake the brown noisy stork for the gray noisy bird, in fact, because the gray noisy bird is very rare, its picture data is very small. Some authors classify the brown noisy stork as a gray-flanked noisy stork.
