Qilu Network Lightning News September 3, 2021 In July 2021, the "China Good Man List" was released, and Li Xiaopeng, senior technician of welder of Offshore Petroleum Engineering (Qingdao) Co., Ltd., won the honorary title of "China Good Man".

On June 25, 2021, China's first large-scale offshore deep-water self-operated gas field Lingshui 17-2 gas field was put into operation, becoming another milestone in the history of domestic oil and gas exploration and development. From the end of 2019, the Lingshui 17-2 semi-submersible production platform was started at the Qingdao site of the CNOOC project, and Li Xiaopeng and his colleagues participated in the construction of the semi-submersible platform cluster.
In 2005, at the age of 19, Li Xiaopeng graduated from technical school and began his career as a welder in Tianjin's Tanggu Port. In 2006, Li Xiaopeng came to the West Coast New Area and became the first batch of welders of Offshore Petroleum Engineering (Qingdao) Co., Ltd.
In October 2014, the world's first polar natural gas integration project, the Yamal Project, settled in Qingdao. In order to meet the extremely cold demand, the pipeline welding for the first time uses ultra-low temperature steel welding wire. However, the weldability of this welding wire is relatively poor, it is difficult to meet the requirements of the owner, and the entire site is in a state of shutdown.
In the face of the owner's questions about the welding skills, Li Xiaopeng did not hesitate to work day and night, after hundreds of tests, summed up a set of effective operations for ultra-low temperature welding wire, and passed on this craft to all the construction personnel at Yamal's time.
In 15 years, he has obtained 35 international welding qualifications, participated in the process pipeline welding work of more than 30 domestic and foreign projects, accumulated less than ten days of annual leave, and stuck to the construction line for five Spring Festival holidays. But as a father, he also regrettably missed his daughter's growth process.
But Li Xiaopeng does not regret it, just like his attitude towards his work, "we must treat work as a career of our own" - willing to work hard, dare to gnaw "hard bones", perseverance, and long-term achievements.
