Liu Tuo was born on February 28, 1990 in Kunming, Yunnan. In 2008, he enrolled in the first interdisciplinary major in Peking University's Yuanpei College, the Paleontology Major, which is mostly located in the School of Life Sciences and the School of Earth and Space Sciences of Peking University, and the research objects are mainly on organisms that have survived in the geological age of Earth's history and have almost disappeared, such as trilobites, dinosaurs and mammoths.
