On October 29, during the 3rd China-Korea Trade and Investment Expo, the first China-Japan-Korea New Energy Vehicle Innovation and Development Forum was successfully held in Yancheng. In his speech, Hong Zhangyu said that next year is the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea, and Yancheng, as a demonstration city of the Korea-China Free Trade Agreement, is a first-tier city for economic exchanges between South Korea and China, making great contributions to the promotion of economic exchanges between South Korea and China. Tang Jing, vice mayor of Yancheng People's Government, said that Yancheng is the largest passenger car manufacturing base in Jiangsu, with 7 vehicle manufacturers such as Dongfeng Yueda Kia and Huaren Express, and 177 auto parts enterprises above designated size, with a cumulative production and sales of more than 5.8 million vehicles. In 2020, the SKR power battery project of Huaren Yuntong New Energy Vehicle was successfully put into production, and we in Yancheng are making every effort to build a modern automobile city, focusing on the development of new energy and intelligent networked vehicles, promoting the construction of new energy vehicles and export bases, making every effort to break through high-end models and expand the second-hand car market.
