The project won the first place in the build-and-run SMART design group, which is the first time that the domestic highway BIM project has won the highest award in the field of BIM in the world.
bSI (Building Wisdom International Alliance) is a global authoritative BIM organization that promotes the economic transformation of construction assets through the creation and adoption of open international standards, and is the world's most authoritative BIM industry association and IFC international standard compilation and maintenance organization. "BuildingSMART International Awards" is an international BIM competition initiated and organized by buildningSMART, which aims to recognize the innovation and excellent application of openBIM international standards and technologies.
In this year's selection, a total of 9 categories of awards such as design and construction were awarded, and a total of 133 projects from more than 20 countries around the world participated. After several rounds of selection, China's "Riverside Expressway Project" was shortlisted for the finals together with the "Santiago Bernabeu Stadium" in Spain and the "Cross-River Railway Project" in Australia, and finally the Riverside Expressway Project was awarded the first place and successfully won the championship.
The BIM application of the Yanjiang expressway project is based on CCDS data collaboration, production assistance, delivery and other systems, as well as the integrated BIM application platform for construction, management and maintenance jointly built by all parties, which greatly solves the industry problems such as the landing application of BIM standards, the collaborative work of multiple people and multiple professions, the delivery of cross-BIM platform results, the full-cycle cross-stage data delivery, the full-cycle BIM application and the integration and integration of business systems, effectively improving the design quality, management efficiency and data value. The application of the project explores a set of feasible solutions for the value conversion of digital assets in highway construction, which has great practical significance.
