In 1959, William Daws Elementary School in the United States was about to usher in the school anniversary, and the idea proposed by the little girl Lucinda was adopted by the principal. On school day, students will draw their own visions for the future and bury them in the ground in a metal time capsule to reopen in 50 years. After the school day, Lucinda, who behaved strangely, wrote strange words on the wall with blood and warned the teacher.
In 2009, William Daws Elementary School celebrated again, and the time capsule that had been buried underground for 50 years was revealed. The little boy Keller gets Lucinda's letter, which has no drawings on it and a whole page full of irregular numbers. Keller's father, John, studied the numbers at night and discovered that they were a set of prophetic codes. The figures in the painting clearly document the various disasters that have occurred in the world over the past 50 years. With volcanic eruptions, powerful earthquakes, and tsunamis, Jackson led his family in a temporary rented plane to storm the city over the grims of death and begin to search for what Charlie said was an ark that governments had conspired to create. When thousands of individuals came to the Ark Manufacturing Base by various means, the limited capacity of the Ark caused unprecedented panic.
A good disaster film, in addition to the good special effects, expresses people's desire to survive in the face of disasters.
