This is a press conference held by the Information Office of the State Council on comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and accelerating agricultural and rural modernization, mainly focusing on the interpretation of the No. 1 document of the Central Committee that everyone cares about. At the same time, it is worth noting that this is also the first press conference presided over by Chen Wenjun in his capacity as director of the Information Bureau of the Information Office of the State Council and press spokesman.
On February 9, the Information Office of the State Council announced the list of press spokespersons for central state organs and localities in 2021, and the surging reporters noticed that the press spokesmans of the Information Office of the State Council had undergone major changes, and the number of press spokesmen of the State Council Information Office had increased to 4, namely Xu Lin, deputy director of the Central Propaganda Department and director of the Information Office of the State Council, Chen Wenjun, director of the Information Bureau of the Information Office of the State Council, and Shou Xiaoli and Xing Huina, deputy directors of the Information Bureau of the Information Office of the State Council. In addition to Xu Lin, the other three speakers appeared on the list for the first time.
The press conference on February 22 was the first time that Chen Wenjun appeared at the press conference in a new capacity after taking over as director of the Information Bureau and press spokesman of the Information Office of the State Council.
But that wasn't his debut on the state council information office. According to public information, from 2007 to 2012, Chen Wenjun, then deputy director of the Information Bureau of the Information Office of the State Council, presided over the release activities of the Information Office of the State Council on many occasions.
