Since the morning of the 8th, the territory of Huoqiu County, Anhui Province, has fallen heavily to heavy rain, and according to the statistics of the local meteorological department, the maximum rainfall in 6 hours has reached 170 mm. The continuous heavy rainfall caused a road in the local town of Oolong to be flooded, trapping 35 people, and the fire immediately rushed to the scene to carry out rescue.
After on-site investigation, most of the trapped people were the elderly and children. Firefighters use kayaks to transfer trapped people according to the situation at the scene. After more than an hour of rescue, all the trapped people were rescued. It is understood that the local rainfall has gradually stopped and is being drained with full force.
