On August 10, haidian District Institute of Agricultural Sciences, together with Beijing Plant Protection Station and Beijing Juhe Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., carried out drone flight defense and professional unified defense and control operations for Jingxi rice, corn and cherries in Shangzhuang Town, Sujiatuo Town and Wenquan Town in Haidian District. The UAV flight defense will also release natural enemies for the first time to reduce pollution and protect the ecological environment.
Jingxi rice is a characteristic crop in Haidian District, and the current planting area is concentrated in Shangzhuang Town, Ximafang Village, Dongmafang Village, Changle Village, Yongfengtun Village, Shangzhuang Village and other places, with an area of less than 2,000 mu. This time, 4 plant protection UAVs were organized to work at the same time, with an average of 25 mu per hour, and it was planned to be completed in 16 hours.
The flight was made using biological agents, including Jinggangmycin, Saimofon and Limonene. Jinggangmycin mainly prevents blight, rice aspergillosis, and rice blast; on the one hand, SaiMaofeng can provide the required nutrients for Jingxi rice, on the other hand, it can induce rice to quickly produce systematic resistance and reduce pathogenic infection; limonene can improve the permeability and spreadability of the agent.
This year also used drones for the first time to release predators of insects. The rice borer red-eyed wasp has a good parasitic effect on pest eggs such as rice dimorph borer and rice longitudinal leaf borer. It is planned to be released once from the end of July to the beginning of August, three days before the peak spawning period of the dimorph and rice longitudinal leaf borer, with about 20,000 heads placed at 7 points per mu of land. The drone places the waterproof hive with the egg card evenly on the point, saving time and labor.
The cherry flying area of more than 200 acres, the use of biological agents include polyantimycin, matrine, verriculene and limonene. Two plant protection UAVs work at the same time, with an average of 20 acres per hour, and are scheduled to be completed in 5 hours.
The corn grown in Haidian District is mainly eaten fresh, and the common insect pests mainly include corn armyworm, corn borer and grassland night moth. This time, the Zhou's roding wasp and the pine caterpillar red-eyed bee were released at the same time. The former can parasitize in the pupae of corn borer and meadow moth, while the latter can parasitize in eggs in a two-pronged manner.
According to reports, the spraying operation of agricultural plant protection UAV is to fly above the crop 1.5-2 meters, relying on the propeller down pressure wind field for drug sowing, almost unaffected by the terrain, and there is no need to reserve channels, which can greatly improve the efficiency of pesticide application.
"Agricultural plant protection UAVs can achieve precise drug application, save labor and time, reduce the amount of drugs used, improve the utilization rate of drugs, and is one of the important measures to protect the ecological environment and promote the sustainable development of agriculture." The relevant person in charge of the Haidian District Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau said.
