Beijing News (chief reporter Sun Haiguang) On October 27, the 26th Samsung Cup World Go Masters ended the first semi-final competition. South Korean chess player Park Tinghuan Jiudan defeated Chinese chess player Zhao Chenyu Baduan with 236 hands, reaching the final of the Samsung Cup for the first time in his career.
In the prologue, Cho Chen-woo fell into a bitter battle after being raided by Park Tinghuan in the 42nd hand, and the winning rate fell to less than 10% when he reached 80 hands. After that, Zhao Chenyu struggled to catch up, and the winning rate was once close to 50%.
Samsung cup rule, each side takes 2 hours, keep 5 times one minute reading seconds. Because the first half of the period was repeatedly caught in the long exam, Zhao Chenyu was very passive in terms of time, and when there were only 5 minutes left in the regular time, Park Tinghuan had 53 minutes left. In the second reading stage, Park Tinghuan still maintains a slightly superior computing power, and there are basically no mistakes in mid-abdomen processing. When he reached 200 hands, Zhao Chenyu's winning percentage returned to single digits again. In the end, it took more than 5 hours, Park Tinghuan won the 236 hand set, and Zhao Chenyu did not have the opportunity to break through the personal best record of the top 4 of the World Series. After the game, Yu Bin and Zhao Chenyu, head coaches of the Chinese Go team, have been reviewing the game.
