[Death of the Sacred Deer] was shortlisted for the Palme d'Or and Best Screenplay awards at the 70th Cannes Film Festival, and eventually won the Best Screenplay Award.
In addition, after the film was screened at the Cannes Film Festival, the reputation of the film was polarized, and some people praised it as very wonderful and showed the complexity of human nature; some people the film's logic was weak and could not withstand scrutiny. But it is undeniable that this is a work with a distinct personal style of the director.

This is the second time colin farrell has worked with director Augs Lancemus after [The Lobster]. In addition, Farrell will also participate in the series directed by Lance Moss about the beginning and end of the "Iran-Contra" incident, which is currently untitled and is expected to air in 2019.
In addition to this film, this year Colin Farrell also co-starred with Nicole Kidman in Sophia Coppola's new film [Under the Peony Flower], which won the Best Director Award at the Cannes Film Festival, but also received two ratings.

The trailer doesn't have shocking thriller scenes and heart-wrenching shots, but the overall atmosphere is eerie, as some people say, the whole film is full of spiritual fear.
Steven's remark that "a surgeon can't kill a patient, but an anesthesiologist can kill a patient" seems to have another meaning.
▲ All the shots in the trailer have a different sense of weirdness
The BGM laid out in the trailer is Rafi Cassidy's "Burn" by "Sister Sheep" Elie Goulding, mixed with a low, discordant sound effect to create a different kind of horror texture.
The film, produced and distributed by A24, will be released in the United States on November 3 and in the United Kingdom on November 17. The mainland is estimated to have no drama, see on the network disk ~
