Long Yuxiang extended a warm welcome to Kim Myung-jong's delegation to visit China and attend the press conference of the first China-Russia International Ball hosted by the China International Cultural Communication Center. He said that last year, a delegation from the China International Cultural Communication Center went to the DPRK to participate in the 31st "April Spring" Friendship Art Festival and was warmly received by Director Jin Mingzhong, for which he expressed his gratitude. Under the joint leadership of the top leaders of China and the DPRK, the traditional friendship between China and the DPRK has been full of vitality, and the relations between the two countries have entered a new era. We must conscientiously implement the consensus reached by the top leaders of China and the DPRK, promote people-to-people ties by strengthening cultural exchanges, and contribute to the consolidation and development of the traditional friendship between China and the DPRK. In the future, the China International Cultural Communication Center will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the DPRK in culture, art, sports, film and other fields, promote exchanges between the two peoples, and promote greater development of people-to-people exchanges between China and the DPRK. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the DPRK, and is of great significance to the relations between the two countries in carrying forward the past and opening up the future. We will invite a delegation of North Korean artists to visit and tour China, and look forward to once again experiencing the highest level of performances by North Korean artists."

Kim Myung-jong thanked Long Yuxiang for his invitation, saying that the traditional DPRK-China friendship forged and nurtured by the leaders of the older generation of the two parties and two countries is a precious friendship condensed with blood and is our most precious wealth. Chairman Kim Jong-un and General Secretary Xi Jinping have met four times in less than a year, and we have personally felt the preciousness and warmth of the traditional friendship between the DPRK and China. Cultural exchanges play an important role in promoting mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples, and in the future, we are willing to continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the China International Cultural Communication Center in culture, art, sports, film and other fields, and promote exchanges between the two peoples. In 2013, the National Ethnic Arts Troupe of Korea was invited by the China International Cultural Communication Center to perform in China for a month-long tour, and everywhere we went, we felt the deep friendship of the Chinese people for the Korean people. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the DPRK and China, and in such a special year, we are willing to send the DPRK art troupe to China again for visiting and performing, and celebrate the happy events of the two countries with the Chinese people.
