The United States opened its doors and announced the details of its entry

At the dawn of last year's outbreak, the U.S. began imposing a travel ban for the first time, including non-U.S. citizens from 33 countries (the United Kingdom, Brazil, China, India, Iran, Ireland, South Africa, and 26 European Schengen countries) who were barred from entering the United States during the pandemic.

Now that more than a year has passed, the restriction will be lifted on November 8. At that time, international travelers can enter the United States as long as they have vaccination documents from "official sources". However, airlines must confirm that the passenger's last vaccination is at least two weeks before the date of travel, and collect personal information from air passengers, including telephone numbers, emails and U.S. contact addresses, and retain them for 30 days in order to trace passengers who have been exposed to the new crown virus or other pathogens.

The new rules also stipulate that children under the age of 18 and people with certain medical problems will not be subject to vaccination restrictions. Citizens from about 50 countries with vaccination rates below 10 percent will also be eligible for exemptions.

Vaccines recognized in the United States include vaccines approved for emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the World Health Organization. This means that in addition to the three vaccines approved by the United States, Pfizer, Modena and Johnson & Johnson. WHO-authorized AstraZeneca, China Kexing, Sinopharm and the "Indian version of AstraZeneca" Covishield vaccines are within its recognition.
