Go out for the country and knock on the heavens! 12 Chinese astronauts landed in space

Since astronaut Yang Liwei became the first Chinese visitor to the vast space, China has carried out 7 manned missions, and a total of 12 Chinese astronauts have landed in space.

With the ambition of the nine-day moon and the extraordinary ability to conquer space, they went out to conquer the sky for the country! Their names are Yang Liwei, Fei Junlong, Nie Haisheng, Zhai Zhigang, Liu Boming, Jing Haipeng, Liu Wang, Liu Yang (female), Zhang Xiaoguang, Wang Yaping (female), Chen Dong, and Tang Hongbo. Tribute to China's aerospace heroes!

On October 15, 2003, Yang Liwei in flight took a selfie in the evening of the same day, which was also the first "space selfie" of Chinese astronauts.

In October 2003, astronaut Yang Liwei took the Shenzhou 5 spacecraft launched by the Long March 2F carrier rocket and flew 14 times in orbit, lasting 21 hours and 23 minutes, successfully completed various scheduled operation tasks, and returned to the main landing field safely. The complete success of this mission marks that China has become the third country in the world to independently master manned space technology, realized the Chinese nation's dream of flying for a thousand years, and is a milestone event in the history of China's aerospace industry.

"Shen Vii" astronauts Zhai Zhigang, Liu Boming and Jing Haipeng trained before the expedition.

In September 2008, the Shenzhou 7 spacecraft was launched, a total of 2 days, 20 hours and 27 minutes in orbit, astronaut Zhai Zhigang wore the "Feitian" extravehicular space suit, Liu Boming wore the "SeaHawk" extravehicular space suit, cooperated with each other, successfully completed the space outgoing activities, astronaut Zhai Zhigang retrieved the scientific test materials outside the cabin and carried out a spacewalk, successfully achieved the mission goal of "accurate entry into orbit, normal operation, successful outgoing activities, safe and healthy return".

On June 16, 2012, Three astronauts, Jing Haipeng, Liu Wang, and Liu Yang, set sail aboard the Shenzhou 9 spacecraft.

In June 2012, astronauts Jing Haipeng, Liu Wang, and Liu Yang, China's first flying female astronaut, were launched by the Long March 2F carrier rocket aboard the Shenzhou 9 spacecraft. On June 24, Liu Wang operated the spacecraft to approach Tiangong-1 from 140 meters away, achieving the success of the first hand-controlled rendezvous and docking, which marked that China became the third country in the world to completely independently master the rendezvous and docking technology.

At 9:22 a.m. on June 17, Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming, and Tang Hongbo were launched on the Shenzhou 12 manned spacecraft by the Long March 2F Yao 12 carrier rocket. This is the 19th mission since the implementation of China's manned space project, and it is also the first manned mission in the space station stage. After the spacecraft enters orbit, it will conduct autonomous and rapid rendezvous and docking with the Tianhe core module in accordance with the predetermined procedure. During the flight of the combination, the astronauts will be stationed in the Tianhe core module, complete a three-month on-orbit residency, carry out robotic arm operations, space out of the capsule and other activities, and verify a series of key technologies such as astronauts' long-term on-orbit residence and regeneration life protection.
