As the largest inland saltwater lake and an important natural wetland in China, Qinghai Lake has tens of thousands of birds breeding here every year, and Qinghai Lake Bird Island is listed as a national nature reserve. According to the data released in August this year, with the continuous improvement of the ecological environment of Qinghai Lake in recent years, the number of birds in the Qinghai Lake area has increased to more than 200 species.
