In 2014, the Celts experienced one of their most famous nights in Europe. For the Celtics' home game against Barca, no one expected anything other than the hosts' fiasco. But the Celtics eventually found a way to shock their opponents.

Five years earlier, Barcelona have suffered another upset in the Champions League group stage. Russian side Rubin Kazan played at camp Nou against Guardiola's superstar squad and they took the lead in the second minute with ryazantsev's stunning goal. However, Borisov's goal in the 94th minute ultimately sealed the win for them, beating Champions League favourite Bayern Munich.

5) Greeks Athletic 1-0 Lyon (2012)

2012 was a shocking year for Europe as the Greeks reached the champions league quarter-finals with outstanding performances. The Cypriot team was not optimistic about reaching the quarter-finals, with Lyon leading 1-0 into the second leg, but the Greeks athletic won 1-0 in the second leg and the match went into a penalty shootout. Greek Athletic goalkeeper Chiotis pounced on Lacazette's penalty and became a hero on the spot.

6) Barcelona 2-3 CSKA Moscow (1992)

Barcelona in the 1990s had a list of players coveted by European giants. However, after Barca were eliminated by CSKA Moscow, the likes of Guardiola, Ronald Koeman and Michel Laudrup were stunned. The first leg of the 1-1 draw in Russia left the La Liga giants with work to do, but they were shocked by CSKA Moscow's performance at home. CSKA Moscow won 3-2 with a 0-2 trail.
